Join us for our December membership meeting, Support Your Organization’s Strategic Advancement: Don’t Be an Island, presented by Betsy Gray, on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 11:30am - 1:00pm at the Capital City Country Club.
An important function of a Human Resources professional is to ensure that everyone in the organization; from the President/CEO to the lowest level staff assistant, understands HR and the value of Human Capital. In addition, it is necessary that we recognize what it takes for everyone in the organization to be a true business partner, so that collectively, the organization can grow and prosper. Increasingly, our job is to find ways to align our workforce with business strategies to increase profits, improve the value of the organization and to deliver successes. The reward: getting closer to the C suite.
During this program we will discuss the actions you can take, to make a difference:
Demonstrate your competence related to business issues and the economic climate in which your organization operates;
Strategically network with business professionals and understand the intricacies of the business community where your organization does business;
Seek out and garner resources to assist your organization in meeting its goals and ultimate vision;
Be the “sharpest tool in the shed” by committing to a pathway of personal career development, which will in turn, lead to growth and prosperity of the business; and
Partner with other strategic thinkers to gather and analyze data that will maximize corporate goals.
