Join us for our July membership meeting, Rx for Outrageous Team Building, presented by Dr. Tippy Amick, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 11:30am - 1:00pm at the Capital City Country Club.
Why is it that some teams seem to thrive while others struggle along? One critical aspect of high performance teams is that they understand and know each other and the talents each brings to the table. In this presentation, participants will get an orientation to team building using the True Colors model, an international program that helps us look at the variety of personalities that are present in the work environment and how to work with each other in a way that resonates with the different personality styles. This presentation will provide a valuable tool to participants and open their eyes to ways of working better with others throughout their organization.
Participants will learn:
- How and why people behave and interact in the workplace
- How miscommunications occur and what communication barriers exist in the workplace
- How to be more confident in approaching situations with others
- Ways to communicate with different personality types
