    Join Veronica DeGraff, MBA,  Certification Facilitator for the Big Bend SHRM Spring 2018 Study Group in preparation for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exam window of May 1, 2018 - July 15, 2018. 

    This 12 week (Thursday evenings6-9pm) study group is designed for human resource professionals interested in preparing for the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam, achieving professional advancement and building confidence for addressing today’s HR challenges. 

    Study Materials: 2018 SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP

     HR Competencies

    Cost of Study Materials: $541 if purchased through Big Bend SHRM, otherwise $795 for SHRM Members and $985 for SHRM Non-members

    Cost of Study Group: $100 (refunded upon passing the Spring 2018 testing window)

    SHRM Exam registration window is from January 2, 2018 to March 23, 2018

    Note: You can join the study group even if you choose not to purchase the 2018 SHRM Learning System. 

    Please be aware, though, that the 2018 SHRM Learning System is individually licensed material and no copies of materials will be made. Scholarship information can be found here.

    Barefoot in the Park, by Neil Simon
    Theatre Tallahassee Main Stage Production

    Big Bend SHRM invites you to attend “Barefoot in the Park”, by Neil Simon. Please join us for a fabulous main stage production at Theatre Tallahassee! Proceeds will benefit the SHRM Foundation.

    Story Line: Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. He’s a straight-as-an arrow lawyer and she’s a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. After a six-day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie’s loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner party with their neighbor, Velasco, where everything that can go wrong does.

    Proceeds from this event will support the SHRM Foundation to assist the SHRM Foundation in achieving its mission to empower HR Professionals and students through research and scholarships.
